Delete Your Account

You can delete your Ango Tasks account and its data at any time. Ango Tasks is made by Ango Media LLC. Use whichever way below suits you; you don't need the app installed.

Delete it in the app

On Android or iPhone:

1. Open Ango Tasks and tap your profile picture at the top right.
2. Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
3. Type DELETE and tap Delete My Account.

Your account is deleted straight away.

Delete it on the web

1. Sign in at app.angotasks.com.
2. Open Settings and go to Delete account.
3. Type DELETE and click Delete my account.

Ask us by email

If you can't sign in, email admin@angomedia.com from the address you use with Ango Tasks, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll reply to confirm it's you, then delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, email address and sign-in details
• All your lists, folders, tasks, subtasks and notes
• Attachments, photos and voice notes
• Saved places and location reminders
• Invitations and share links you created. Lists you own are deleted for everyone you shared them with.
• Your Google Calendar connection; Ango Tasks' access to your calendar is revoked
• Connected AI assistants and your AI usage history
• Devices registered for notifications

Lists that other people shared with you belong to them, so they stay in their accounts, including any tasks you added there. You are removed from them.

Subscriptions

• Google Play: deleting your account cancels the subscription and refunds the unused time.
• Web: deleting your account cancels the subscription.
• Apple: only Apple can cancel these. Before or after deleting, open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Ango Tasks → Cancel Subscription.

What we keep

• Records of purchases, kept as long as tax and accounting law requires
• An anonymous count of deleted accounts, with no name, email or content
